The panel is a 6.88-inch IPS LCD at HD+ resolution, 1640 × 720, at 120 Hz. It is the cheapest part in the whole catalogue, and it is also why the question “is it worth it?” is a real one on this phone: the cost of the display approaches the phone's residual value, which starts from a 119.90 euro list price. We do the sums together before ordering, and if they do not add up we say so plainly.
Xiaomi declares no IP rating for this model: dust and splash resistance is mentioned generically, but with no certification. For you that means contact with water is real damage, with no safety net. If it happens: do not switch it on, do not put it on charge, bring it in as soon as possible.
In exchange it has two things phones over 300 euro have lost: the 3.5 mm jack and a dedicated microSD slot, not shared with the second SIM. On a cheap phone that card is worth more than it looks: if the phone dies, photos living there are recovered by reading the card, without opening anything. The fingerprint reader is on the side, so replacing the display keeps the unlock.
