The iPad Air 11" with the M2 chip is the tablet for people who work: same size as the entry-level iPad, but with a computer-class processor, the Apple Pencil Pro and a display built a different way.
And it is the display construction that you want to know about before asking for a quote: here glass and panel are a single part.

On this iPad the display is fully laminated: glass and panel are bonded together and are replaced as a single part. That is the difference that weighs most on the quote compared with the entry-level iPads, where the glass can be replaced on its own. It is not a flaw — lamination is what removes the air gap between glass and image. But it has to be said up front, not afterwards.
Cellular versions are eSIM only: no tray to remove, no card to recover. That is one less mechanical part to break, but also one less thing to move across if the tablet has to be replaced.
The M2 chip is the one from the laptops, and it shows in two opposite ways: the tablet handles heavy work, but it runs warmer than an entry-level iPad under load. Heat is the number one enemy of any device's battery, and it is why on an Air genuinely used for work the battery starts asking for attention sooner than on a sofa iPad. Touch ID is in the top button and the Apple Pencil Pro adds pressure and hover detection: two functions that run through the digitiser, which is the same layer replaced along with the display.
