Repair service for Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra

Repairing your Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra

The S25 Ultra is the most expensive phone Samsung makes, and also the one where the choice of part carries the most weight: 6.9 inches of panel, a titanium frame, a built-in S Pen.

It is recent, so it reaches the bench for one reason almost exclusively: it was dropped. At 218 grams and nearly 163 millimetres long, when it slips it is not a light fall.

Galaxy S25 Ultra: titanium, S Pen and a 6.9-inch display to handle with care

The panel is 6.9 inches at QHD+ and 120 Hz, protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2 and set in a titanium frame. It is the most expensive component you can replace on a Samsung phone, and its sheer size also makes it the most delicate to handle during fitting: a panel that large flexes, and has to be treated accordingly.

The S Pen is a component in its own right, housed inside the phone body. The stylus itself can be lost and replaced; its slot is a mechanical part that can break if forced. Those are two different things, and we tell them apart at the diagnosis stage.

As for the rest: 5,000 mAh with 45 W wired and 15 W wireless charging, IP68, an ultrasonic under-display fingerprint reader and four rear cameras up to 200 MP. Charging at 45 W runs hotter than at 25 W, and over a few years it tells on battery capacity — that is normal, and the battery remains a common repair.

Frequently asked questions about the Galaxy S25 Ultra

Can the S Pen be replaced?
Yes, and they are two separate things: the stylus itself, which can be lost and replaced, and its slot in the phone body, which is a mechanical part and can break if forced. At the diagnosis stage we look at which of the two is the problem.
Why does the S25 Ultra display cost so much?
Because it is a 6.9-inch QHD+ panel at 120 Hz with the fingerprint sensor built in: the most expensive component replaced on a Samsung phone. On this model the difference between original and compatible is the heaviest line of the quote, and we discuss it first.
The fingerprint reader is ultrasonic: does that change anything for repair?
Yes. Unlike the optical sensors on the A series, an ultrasonic reader reads the ridges of your finger through the glass: it is more accurate and works with a wet finger, but it is more sensitive to the thickness of the panel fitted over it. With an unsuitable part it misbehaves, and it is the first thing we check in the final test.
Is it still IP68 after opening?
We restore the water-resistance seals at every opening, but no workshop can re-certify factory IP68: the seal is restored as far as it can be, but it is no longer the one measured at the factory and the rating does not come back. We say so plainly.
Does the titanium frame change anything for repair?
Little in method: it changes the rigidity of the body, not how it opens. What matters more is the size of the panel, which being huge flexes and needs more care than a 6.1-inch one.
