Repair service for Apple iPhone 11

Repairing your Apple iPhone 11

The iPhone 11 is probably the phone that reaches our bench most often. Not because it is fragile — there are simply still a great many of them around, and six years on the faults arrive all at once.

Cracked screen after a drop, battery life that has collapsed, a Lightning port that makes contact intermittently: those are the three reasons the phone rings. And in almost every case they are solved the same day.

Free diagnostics, then a quote with the type of part proposed and the price. The part is ordered only after you confirm.

iPhone 11: display, battery and Face ID — what to know before repairing it

The iPhone 11 uses an LCD Liquid Retina panel, not an OLED: that is why a screen replacement on this model costs noticeably less than on an iPhone 11 Pro or on any later model. It is good news, and worth knowing before giving up and replacing the phone.

The battery is the other great classic. iOS shows battery health in settings: below 80% the system starts limiting performance to avoid sudden shutdowns, and the phone feels like it aged overnight when in fact all it needs is a new battery.

Two warnings specific to this model. Face ID depends on components in the notch that have no official recalibration procedure on this model: we handle them carefully and transfer them to the new display, but if the module was already damaged in the drop, no part will bring it back. And after a screen replacement iOS may show the notice “Unable to verify this iPhone has a genuine Apple display”: that is a system message, not a fault in the repair. We tell you before, not after.

Frequently asked questions about the iPhone 11

Does Face ID still work after a screen replacement?
Yes, provided the TrueDepth module was not damaged in the drop: we transfer it intact to the new display. If the module itself is broken, the road is narrow on this model: Apple's recalibration procedure starts from iPhone 12, so here the only option is trying to recover the original module. We tell you at the diagnosis stage, before touching anything.
Will the “non-genuine display” notice appear?
With a non-original part, yes, iOS shows that notice in settings. It does not affect how the phone or the screen work. If you want to avoid it the route is an original part, with the cost that comes with it: the choice is yours and we put it to you beforehand.
How much does an iPhone 11 screen replacement cost?
Less than it would on an 11 Pro, because the 11 uses an LCD rather than an OLED. The exact figure depends on the type of part you choose, and we give it after the free diagnosis.
How do I know whether I need a new battery?
Settings › Battery › Battery Health. Below 80% maximum capacity iOS limits performance: if the phone suddenly feels slow, it is often that and not the processor.
Do you also repair the iPhone 11 Pro and Pro Max?
Yes. The panel type (OLED instead of LCD) and the camera assembly differ, so the quote differs too: send us the exact model and we will tell you straight away.
